Pete Rusticus

Pete attended Davenport Institute of Business 1962 - 63 where he studied Business, Sales & Administration and played basketball. For 30 years following college he participated in recreational sports playing basketball and fast-pitch softball. Pete was also a high-school basketball official for 14 years in the West Michigan area. He has been the public address announcer at Wyoming Public High School for the past 30 years. His announcing career also included Calvin College, Hillsdale College and currently Cornerstone University.

Pete is also very active in his church, Beverly Reformed Church of Wyoming, where he has served numerous times as deacon, elder, counsel head and VP of Consistory. He also enjoys participating in the church golf league.

Pete has been in the sales industry since l963 working in various capacities; sales manager, district manager, regional manager, etc. His career took a sports direction in 1996 when he was employed by the Grand Rapids Hoops, a CBA professional basketball team, as Director of Corporate Sponsorship. He moved from there to Cornerstone University in 2004 where he holds the same position. He also currently serves on the Advancement and Development Committee for Cornerstone.

He has been married to his wife, Linda, for 36 years. They currently reside in Wyoming. They have five children, Dave, Dan, Dennis, Debbie and Nick. God has also blessed them with 9 grandchildren.
