GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The 2015 campaign for head coach Ryan Campbell and the Cornerstone Women's Volleyball team is set to kick off on Thursday when the Golden Eagles open a 4-match tournament at Saint Thomas in Miami Gardens, Fla. CU will face No. 3 Missouri Baptist in the opener and follow with matches against the host Bobcats, Olivet Nazarene and MidAmerica Nazarene.
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Head coach Ryan Campbell and his Cornerstone volleyball team reported to camp earlier this week and after a full slate of training and practices, are ready to open the 2015 campaign next week with a trip to Miami Gardens and the Athletes Meals Invitational hosted by Saint Thomas University. CU will then head on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic.
#5 - Cailie Schultz goes over 1,000 career kills

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Cornerstone senior Cailie Schultz (SR/Rockford, Mich.) went over 1,000 career kills on Saturday afternoon as she led the Golden Eagles to a pair of wins in the Aquinas/Cornerstone Classic. Schultz finished with 30 kills in the pair of victories over Rochester and William Penn as the Golden Eagles now sit at 23-8 on the season. CU will return to action on Wednesday when they play No. 14 Davenport on the road.
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Cornerstone University Assistant Athletic Director for Communications Aaron Sagraves was named Friday as one of five finalists for the 2014-15 Grant Burger Media Award presented by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA). The award had finalists in five different categories among which Sagraves was the selection in the SID category.
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Cornerstone volleyball player Chelsea Lake (JR/Lake Odessa, Mich.) is gearing up for her senior campaign in 2015 and to do that she is spending some time traveling throughout Costa Rica with High Performance Sports. Lake is one of nine student athletes from around the Great Lakes region participating on the trip as they also volunteer their time in the community.
