CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Audrey Tremaine (SR/Jackson, Mich.) has the women's cross country team slowly climbing the NAIA ranks and after moving into the Top-25 this past week, the Golden Eagles had a strong showing at the Royals XC Challenge hosted by Queen's (N.C.). The meet was run at the site of the NAIA National Championships in mid-November.
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Senior Audrey Tremaine (SR/Jackson, Mich.) and sophomore Zach Feldpausch (SO/Fowler, Mich.) made it a clean sweep for the Cornerstone Cross Country teams as they were each named the WHAC Runner of the Week on Monday afternoon. Feldpausch led the men's team to a solid finish at the meet hosted by Augustana while Tremaine set a new PR in the 6K also in Illinois.
ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – Running in the largest meet in program history, the CU women accomplished their objectives taking seventh out of 50 teams at the Brissman/Lundeen Invitational hosted by Augustana College. The Golden Eagles entered the meet tied for 31st in the latest NAIA rankings and had their sights on 25th ranked St. Ambrose University of Iowa.
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – On a beautiful day for racing at the Calvin College Gainey Athletic Complex, the women's cross country team ran to eleventh in a field of 25 teams. The meet featured most schools from the WHAC as well as numerous NCAA DIII programs from around the region. CU resumes action on September 25 in a meet hosted by Augustana College (Ill.).
HOLLAND, Mich. – On the strength of putting five runner sin the top fifteen, the Cornerstone Women's Cross Country team captured second at the Vanderbuilt Invitational hosted by Hope College. It marked the first appearance for the team for the 2015 campaign as they will again race in Grand Rapids next week at the Knight Invitational on September 12.
