2015 Roster | 2015 Schedule

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Head coach Randy Strawser and his Cornerstone women's soccer team are gearing up for the 2015 campaign next week with a trio of matches against two Chicago-are schools and a local road match at nearby Hope College. Check out the schedule and roster in preparation for the season opener next Tuesday in Holland.

Muskegon Risers SC Home

MUSKEGON, Mich. — The Muskegon Risers Soccer Club just completed its first season under the direction of current Cornerstone Assistant Women's Soccer coach David Wood. The Risers, an independent men's team, finished the campaign with a 10-3-1 overall record which included two big wins over newly former rival Grand Rapids FC this past weekend. Wood took some time to reflect on his experience for the first year club.

#7 - Brisson-Fast records hat-trick in win over Goshen

Grand Rapids, Mich. - Junior Lexie Brisson-Fast (JR/Ferndale, Mich.) posted a hat-trick in the Golden Eagles 3-0 win over Goshen College and all three of her goals came in the opening half as CU improved to 4-0-2 to start the 2014 campaign. The matchup of the WHAC-Crossroads League schools was the third out of four matches for Cornerstone as they will take on Rochester in one week.

Daktronics-NAIA Women's Soccer Scholar-Athletes

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced its Daktronics Scholar-Athlete Teams on Friday and Cornerstone placed four from the women's soccer team under head coach Randy Strawser. Senior Kate Wiegman (SR/Wheaton, Ill.) was joined by juniors Anna Buffum (JR/Wyoming, Mich.), Josie Litty (JR/Hudsonville, Mich.) and Teigan Mitcham (JR/Grand Rapids, Mich.).

Academic All-America® Soccer Teams

AUSTIN, Texas – The Capital One Academic All-American Women's Soccer Teams were announce by CoSIDA Thursday afternoon and senior Kate Wiegman (SR/Wheaton, Ill.) was voted by Sports Information Directors as a 2nd Team All-American. The defender led the Golden Eagles to a 10-5-4 record and an appearance in the WHAC Semifinals.
