GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – UNOH raced out to a 6-0 lead early in the game but Cornerstone responded and reclaimed the lead just 2:45 into the first half and kept the lead for the remainder of the game. Cornerstone shot 50% from the field and 52.6% from long range in the game and defeated Northwestern Ohio 94-67. Cornerstone moves into a tie for second place with Northwestern Ohio with a record of 13-3 in the WHAC. The Golden Eagles will travel to Ft. Wayne to take on the Warriors of Indiana Tech on Wednesday.
SYLVANIA, Ohio – The first 30 minutes of the game looked bleak for the No. 9 ranked Golden Eagles but they found their offensive rhythm and came away with a …victory over Lourdes University. The win keeps Cornerstone in the hunt for the regular season conference title as they are now 18-5 overall and 12-3 in league play. CU will come back to Mol Arena on Saturday to host No. 17 Northwestern Ohio.

CU will hit the road for the third straight game on Wednesday night against Lourdes before coming back to Mol Arena on Saturday to host Northwestern Ohio. The loss, the first for Cornerstone since December 13, drops the Golden Eagles to 17-5 on the year and 11-3 in the WHAC. CU will look to rebound on Wednesday when they play on the road against Lourdes.
