The Cornerstone men's tennis team took to the courts on Saturday for the final match of their fall season against the Tigers of Georgetown College. The playing conditions were brutal, with consistent 20 mph winds and gusts well over 30 mph, not exactly ideal tennis conditions. Nonetheless, the CU men managed the conditions and came out with a 7-2 win.
NEW ALBANY, Ind. – Cornerstone men's tennis took to the road Friday for a fall season ending trip south. The first of two weekend matches was defending KIAC Champions and 2014 NAIA National qualifier Indiana University Southeast. The CU men picked up an impressive 6-0 win as they improved to 7-0 in dual matches this fall. The Golden Eagles will face Georgetown on Saturday.
The Cornerstone men's tennis team took to the court today for a matchup with the Trojans of Taylor University. For the fifth time in their first six matches, Cornerstone raced out to a match clinching 5-0 lead. They didn't let the intensity drop even after the clinch, finishing the match 9-0.
The Cornerstone men's tennis team took to the courts today in its first Night of Nets match to fight malaria. The biggest crowd Cornerstone tennis has ever seen turned out to help raise money and support the team. Through the generaous donations of the crowd, enough money was raised to provide over 100 mosquito nets to those most in need. This represents 100 lives that may be saved, and possibibly an entire community that could be transformed.
