WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Cornerstone came out of the gates sizzling hot from the field on Thursday night as they used a .633 shooting percentage in the opening half to post a 57-30 advantage and they cruised to a 90-65 win over Edward Waters. The victory lifts the No. 12 ranked Golden Eagles to 10-4 on the season while they will continue play in the Sunshine State on Friday against No. 3 ranked and host Northwood University at 7 p.m.
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Cornerstone's Mol Arena will be the site of some of the best high school basketball over the next three weeks as the school announced the brackets for the upcoming High School Holiday Tournaments. The girls' tournament will run from December 22-23 with two brackets of four while the boys will have three different brackets and run from December 26-January 3. ESPN 96.1 and WBBL 107.3 will have coverage of many of the contests.

Head coach Kim Elders and his team will face Edward Waters (Fla.) on Thursday before taking on the host Seahawks on Friday. Both games are live on the Golden Eagle Sports Network.
ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The host Cardinals of Concordia made 10 of their first 12 shots from the field and built a 17-point halftime lead which was enough to hold off No. 12 Cornerstone in a 78-69 loss for the Golden Eagles. Kyle Steigenga (FR/Holland, Mich.) finished with a double-double for CU with 22 points and 10 rebounds as they fall to 9-4 on the season and 5-2 in the WHAC. CU will resume play next Friday vs. Edwards Waters (Fla.) in West Palm Beach.
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The final game of league play in the opening semester features two of the three teams tied atop the WHAC standings as No. 12 Cornerstone heads to Ann Arbor to face the red-hot Cardinals of Concordia. The Golden Eagles enter with an overall record of 9-3 while Concordia is 6-4 overall having won their last six games including their last five in league play to sit at 5-1.
