Chuck Lowitzki coached baseball at Conference Champion Prairie Ridge High School in Crystal Lake, Illinois for 12 years. His responsibilities included coaching pitchers and catchers. During his tenure, Prairie Ridge won five conference championships, three conference tournament championships, seven regional championships and finished second place in the state IHSBCA summer tournament of 2011. He has coached eight pitchers and four catchers who signed NCAA Division I scholarships from Prairie Ridge with three of those pitchers signing professional contracts.
Prior to coaching, Chuck was a two time all-conference and all-area performer in both baseball and football. He attended Trinity International University on a football scholarship where he was an option fullback for two years before an injury prematurely ended his career. He earned a bachelors degree at National-Louis University in applied behavioral science.
For the past six years Chuck has worked as a teaching assistant in the special education department in Algonquin, IL. He and his, Kimberly, have two sons.
