Dan McAllister
Assistant Coach
10th Season
Dan is in his eighth year as an assistant
coach for Cornerstone. Coach McAllister has been involved with soccer in the
Grand Rapids area at all levels. He has coached youth teams, high school teams,
and college teams in the area. He was a staff Olympic development program (ODP)
coach for Michigan from 1996-2009. He has served as the head coach for the West
Michigan Fire Juniors U-17 and U-15 girls' teams. He is currently coaching with
the Tri-Cities Soccer Club. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to
the program. He holds a USSF "National C" license (#7152) and a USSF "National
Youth" license (#375), and a National Youth - State Instructors Certification. He
coached at Cornerstone in 2002 and 2003. He took the 2004 season off but
returned to coach in 2005. He has coached various club teams over the years
including Grand Rapids Area Soccer Association, West Michigan Fire Juniors, and
Tri-City Strikers.
Dan is married to Renee McAllister and they reside in Grand Haven, Mich. They
have four daughters (Danielle, Charise, Christina and Chelsea.
