Pete is the National Director for Global Youth Baseball Federation, a missions organization which uses baseball as a platform to build relationships and share the gospel worldwide. A role he has served in since January 2012. He is entering his second season here at Cornerstone after the partnership formed between Global Baseball and the University prior to the inaugural season. Roles at Cornerstone include serving as the head Junior Varsity Coach and assistant Varsity coach working primarily with outfielders. Previous coaching experience includes working as an assistant baseball coach at Beloit Memorial High School, Beloit Wisconsin from 2006-2007.
Prior to joining Global Baseball Pete was involved in long term missions in various locations, including Switzerland, rural East Asia, Ireland, and Amsterdam’s Red Light District. Pete is charged with organizing the Cornerstone baseball team mission project to Cuba in December 2013.
Pete played baseball at Wisconsin Lutheran College for 4 years 2001-2005, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Social Science from Wisconsin Lutheran College and a Masters in Sport Management from Indiana State in 2009.
