In his second year of competition as a sophomore, Brad saw limited competition, but took advantage of his opportunities. Brad went 1-0 in singles tournament play and 2-0 in doubles, including 1 dual match win against St. Francis (IL) with partner Alex Tarnow.
As a freshman, Brad played #5 singles in the fall and #4 singles in the spring, as well as #3 doubles with Alex Tarnow. In singles, Brad picked up 6 wins, with victories over Judson, St. Francis, Goshen College, Adrian College, Berry College, and Bethel College. In doubles, Brad and Alex led the team with 8 doubles wins, including victories over Judson, St. Francis, Bethel College (twice), Adrian College, Berry College, Hanover, and WHAC opponent Davenport University.
