2011-2012

As a freshman, Janie played #2 singles, and partnered with Amy Fouty in the fall at #1 doubles and with Allison Rusticus in the spring at #2 doubles. She got her lone singles win against Grand Rapids Community College and a doubles win against WHAC opponent Indiana Tech, which helped qualify the team for the conference tournament.

High School

Three year varsity player at Cadillac High School, where she played #1 doubles as a junior & senior. Both years, Cadillac won their Regional and qualified for the Division 3 State Championships. As a senior, was named Second Team All-Conference in the Big North Conference. Parents are Gary & Alice Silvers.
