Chuck Lowitzki is the pitching coach and recruiting coordinator at Cornerstone University. In addition to his baseball responsibilities, he assists with sports information and study table. Chuck came to Cornerstone in November of 2011 after serving as the pitching and catching coach at Prairie Ridge High School in Crystal Lake, IL. He spent 13 years at Prairie Ridge under Glen Pecoraro, where eight of his pitchers went to division 1 schools and three signed professional contracts. In addition to his pitchers, he had four catchers go on to play at the division 1 level. Those Prairie Ridge teams won seven straight Regional Championships and finished in second place in the 2011 Illinois summer state playoffs.
Chuck has coached privately at both Players Choice Academy and Grand Slam USA where he gave pitching, catching, and hitting lessons. Two pitchers that he worked with privately also signed professional contracts and numerous earned college scholarships. Chuck has attended the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) national coaching clinic and convention eight times and the Baseball Coaches Association (BCA) national coaching clinic three times. He has attended the Willow Creek Global Leadership Summit each of the last four years.
Chuck has been married to Kimberly (Cook) for eight years and they have two sons, Chuck III (5) and Nolan (2). He graduated from National-Louis University in Chicago, IL with a BA in Applied Behavioral Science.
