After wearing a Golden Eagle
uniform the last few years, Ted Albert finds himself in a new role this season
- an assistant coach. Albert was a member of two CU teams that made
it to the Elite 8 ('07 & '10) and was a major contributor off the bench on
the 2011 National Championship team. For his career, Albert played in 79
games, scored 433 points and hauled down 167 rebounds.
"Ted had a very good career
at Cornerstone. He's what our program is all about - toughness,
work-ethic and unselfishness," says Head Coach Kim Elders. "Ted did all the
dirty work for our team. He was an undersized post player with a huge
heart and tremendous passion for the game."
