GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The back half of the 4-match home stand for the men's soccer team features visits from Lawrence Tech on Wednesday and UM-Dearborn on Saturday. Head coach Mark Bell and the Golden Eagles currently sit at 5-6-1 overall and 3-1-1 in the WHAC as they are in a tie for third with Marygrove College. Both match times are set for 7 p.m. at the CU Soccer Stadium
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The final 18 days of the regular season will feature four home matches for the women's soccer team and it begins this week with visits from Indiana Tech on Wednesday and No. 2 ranked Northwestern Ohio on Saturday. Head coach Randy Strawser and the team are currently 8-4-0 overall and 2-2-0 in the league.
STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. – Cornerstone made their debut in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference jamborees today and the men placed eighth led by Dan Ribbink (FR/Muskegon, Mich.)'s 178.5 average. The Golden Eagles bowled four team games and then four baker games to determine the winner in the eight team event. CU will return to action in two weeks at Siena Heights' Halo Invitational.
STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. – The Cornerstone Bowling teams continued to make history over the weekend as they finished up their first appearance in a league event and the women placed eighth in the first jamboree hosted by Lawrence Tech. The team bowled four accumulated team games and four baker games.
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Cornerstone faced their toughest opponent of the season on Saturday afternoon as the Racers of Northwestern Ohio posted a 4-0 win on CU's home pitch. UNOH, ranked No. 6 in the latest NAIA Top-25 poll, was held in check for the opening 45 minutes with just one goal but rallied for three in the second to drop the Golden Eagles to 5-6-1 on the year and 3-1-1 in league action.
