GULF SHORES, Ala. – Day two of the 2015 NAIA Outdoor National Championships brought four All-American plaques to the Cornerstone women's track and field team as Brittany Murray (SR/Monclova, Ohio.) placed second in the Heptathlon and fourth in the Long Jump while Kayla Ovokaitys (JR/Cedar Springs, Mich.) and Melissa Manlan (JR/Kalamazoo, Mich.) went 7-8 in the 5,000m Race Walk. The final day will feature the Marathon, High Jump, Discus, 100m Hurdles and 800m for the women.

GULF SHORES, Ala. – Day two of the 2015 NAIA Outdoor National Championships opened with an All-American mark in the 10,000 from Travis Mabe (SR/Deford, Mich.) and closed with a second one for the Golden Eagles as Brent Dunn (FR/Hobart, Ind.) finished fifth in the 5,000m Race Walk. The men's team will have one more competitor on the final day as Mabe runs in the marathon starting at 7 a.m. EDT.

Men's Academic All-District | Women's Academic All-District

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The 2014-15 Capital One Academic All-District® Track & Field/Cross Country Teams, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America, have been released to recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom. Cornerstone placed nine on the pair of teams with three on the men's side and six on the women's. They all now move on to the national ballot for Academic All-American status.

GULF SHORES, Ala. – Weather owned the story on day one of the NAIA Outdoor National Championships as the last eight running events and last four field events were postponed due to a severe thunderstorm. It marks the first time since 2004 at the outdoor national meet that weather has forced events to be postponed until the following day. In the events that were completed, Brittany Murray (SR/Monclova, Ohio.) will enter day two of the Heptathlon in second place.

GULF SHORES, Ala. – The men's and women's track and field teams are sending 25 different student athletes to Gulf Shores, Ala. Thursday through Saturday for the 2015 NAIA Outdoor National Championships. The women feature 22 of those and are looking to improve on their fifth place finish from a year ago.
