WYOMING, Mich. – The momentum entering the week was at its peak for the season after splitting a series at Madonna but the Cornerstone Baseball team fell victim to some timely hitting from cross-town foe Aquinas College as they fell in both games of the doubleheader 8-6 and 6-3. The pair of setbacks drops the Golden Eagles to 10-19 on the year and 3-9 in league play. CU will welcome No. 23 Northwestern Ohio to DeWitt Field on Friday and Saturday for a four game series.
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The weather is starting to warm up outside and after playing six games in sub-freezing temperatures last week, the Golden Eagles return to the diamond for a 6-game week at Aquinas and home vs. No. 23 Northwestern Ohio. The series vs. the Racers at DeWitt Field on Friday and Saturday will be streamed online with Lexi Brunk on the call on the Golden Eagle Sports Network.
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — After seeing both attempts of their home opener cancelled due to weather, the Cornerstone Softball team will finally play at CU Field on Wednesday when they open WHAC play against UM-Dearborn. The Golden Eagles will follow with a doubleheader on Saturday against Indiana Tech, Live stats will be available for all four games.
