EMERSON, Ga. – After having to wait until almost 10 p.m. EST to start play on their spring break trip to the south, the Cornerstone baseball team could not overcome a 10-k performance from their opposing pitcher of St. Catharine (Ky.) as they fell 1-0. The loss drops CU to 1-4 on the young season as they will play a double-header against the Patriots on Saturday. First pitch in game one is set for 11 a.m.
CLERMONT, Fla. — Veteran head coach Jim Farrell and the 2015 Cornerstone softball team is set to get started in the regular season as they will play 13 games in eight days in Clermont, Fla. The annual spring break trip takes them to the NTC Training Center where they will play schools from Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Pennsylvania. Live stats will be provided for all games.
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference has proven itself to be one of the top conferences in the country and Lima, Ohio will be the site of a showdown on Saturday between No. 4 ranked Cornerstone and No. 16 ranked Northwestern Ohio. The two teams who tied for the regular season title along with No. 7 Davenport, split the season series with UNOH winning at home 68-66 in the first meeting.
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – After picking up a 71-42 win over Northwestern Ohio in the conference tournament quarterfinals on Wednesday, the Cornerstone women's basketball team now faces a daunting challenge at No. 2 and undefeated Davenport on Saturday. A win would put the Golden Eagles in Monday's championship game against either Siena Heights or Madonna.

The No. 4 ranked Golden Eagles improve to 26-5 on the year and they turn their attention to No. 16 Northwestern Ohio in the WHAC Semi-final on Saturday. Game time in Lima is set for 3 p.m.
