MISHAWAKA, Ind. - Opening Day of the 201-16 men's tennis season got off to a very slow start with poor weather but after seeing their initial match with Goshen wiped out due to rain, the Golden Eagles posted an impressive 7-2 win over Bethel College. The team used a 3-0 edge in doubles and followed with four out of six wins in singles to start the campaign with a win. CU will host Huntington and Olivet Nazarene this weekend.
MISHSWAKA, Ind. - After seeing their morning match with Goshen rained out the women's tennis team did get the second match in as they fell to the Bethel College Pilots in their season opener. Head coach Dan Erickson and his team fell by the score of 9-0 as they will host both Huntington University and Olivet Nazarene this weekend.
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Head coach Randy Strawser and his Cornerstone women's soccer team are gearing up for the 2015 campaign next week with a trio of matches against two Chicago-are schools and a local road match at nearby Hope College. Check out the schedule and roster in preparation for the season opener next Tuesday in Holland.
MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – After splitting their first two matches of the season on Thursday evening, the Golden Eagles returned to Saint Thomas University for the final day of the Athletes' Meals Invitational and posted another 1-1 record. CU opened the day with a 3-1 win over Olivet Nazarene before falling by the same score against MidAmerica Nazarene. The team will return to action next Friday in their WHAC opener at Aquinas College.
MIAMI GARDENS, Fla.. – Head coach Ryan Campbell and the Cornerstone Volleyball team opened the 2015 campaign today down in the sunshine state with a 1-1 mark against No. 3 Missouri Baptist and No. RV Saint Thomas (Fla.). The Golden Eagles will open Friday play with Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) at 9 a.m. before finishing the tourney against No. RV MidAmeria Nazarene (Kan.) at 4:30 p.m.
