GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The men's and women's track and field teams will begin the second half of the indoor season on Saturday when they compete at Indiana Wesleyan University's Wildcat Invitational. The meet is scheduled to begin at Noon EST with the field events followed by a 12:30 start for the running events. CU will return to action next Friday at the Furniture City Classic hosted by Aquinas College.
SYLVANIA, Ohio – The first 30 minutes of the game looked bleak for the No. 9 ranked Golden Eagles but they found their offensive rhythm and came away with a …victory over Lourdes University. The win keeps Cornerstone in the hunt for the regular season conference title as they are now 18-5 overall and 12-3 in league play. CU will come back to Mol Arena on Saturday to host No. 17 Northwestern Ohio.
SYLVANIA, Ohio – After suffering just their third loss since the beginning of December this past Saturday, the women's basketball team got back to their winning ways with a 56-49 win at Lourdes on Wednesday night. The Golden Eagles improve to 16-7 on the year while they are now 11-4 in league play. CU will return to Mol Arena on Saturday for a 1 p.m. contest against Northwestern Ohio.
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The state of Ohio will be a common theme for the nationally ranked men's basketball team as they play the only two schools in the conference from the Buckeye state this week. CU will hit the road for the third straight game on Wednesday night against Lourdes before coming back to Mol Arena on Saturday to host Northwestern Ohio. CU plays their final road game in a 3-game stretch at Lourdes on Wednesday before coming back to Grand Rapids for a 1 p.m. tip against UNOH on Saturday.
