(Kansas City, Mo.) The men's cross country team earned an automatic bid to the NAIA National Championships which will be held on Nov. 21 in Vancouver, Washington. The team received the automatic qualifier by winning the WHAC championship November 7th. By a two point margin, the Golden Eagles held off Aquinas College 42 to 44 points. This is the first time since 2001 that a team other than Aquinas haswon the WHAC championship. The win catapulted the Golden Eagles to 13th in the final NAIA rankings. The race will be held at Fort Vancouver Historic Site in Vancouver, Wash. The men's 8k will start at 10:30 am PST with the women's 5K to follow at 11:45 am PST.Click here for team/individual qualifiers and additional information.
