GAME FLOW

The Golden Eagles raced out to a 10 point lead outscoring the Wolves 17-7 in the first 8:14 of the half. Cornerstone kept up the pressure and increased their lead to 24-11 with 6:47 left in the first half but the Wolves would make a quick 7-0 run to cut the lead to six (24-18) with 5:35 on the clock. Melissa Veltkamp drained a couple of 3-pointers down the stretch and Cornerstone would take a 33-24 lead into the locker room at the half. UM-Dearborn made a 17-8 run to start the second half and tied the score at 41-41 with 13:51 on the clock. The Wolves kept it close for the next nine minutes of play. The Golden Eagles led by two (66-64) with just 4:41 on the clock but they would slowly extend their lead throughout the remainder of the half and finished the game with an 82-72 win over the Wolves. Cornerstone improves to 11-4 in the WHAC and is in 3^rd place behind Concordia and Davenport.
