GAME FLOW

The teams traded baskets in the beginning of the game and were tied at 8-8 with 12:20 left in the half but the Golden Eagles were getting ready to explode offensively and put the locks on Aquinas defensively. Cornerstone made a 17-1 run over the next 6 ½ minutes of play to take a 25-9 lead with 6:56 on the clock. The Golden eagles made 5 straight 3-pointers (Mason - 2, Yoder - 1, Possehl - 1, Hudson - 1) during that stretch. Cornerstone continue to pour it on outscoring the Saints 21-8 during the remainder of the half and took a 46-17 advantage into the locker room. The Golden Eagles came out in the second half and preserved their lead throughout the second half.
