GAME FLOW

The Crusaders scored the first 11 points of the game before Ashley Niedermayer put the Golden Eagles on the scoreboard with a 2 point shot with 14:48 on the clock. Madonna pushed the lead to as high as 12 (14-2) before the Golden Eagles started to get on track. Cornerstone made an 23-2 run to take a 9 point (25-16) lead with 7:26 and Madonna would not lead again on the night. The Golden Eagles would finish the half up 40-33. The Golden Eagles would keep a comfortable lead for the first 10 minutes of the second half. Cornerstone lead 51-43 with 10:35 on the clock but the Crusaders would begin to chip away at the lead. Madonna cut the lead to 53-52 with 8:05 but that would be as close as they would get in the second half. The lead remained 3-5 points from 7:51 down to 3:46 on the clock. Samantha Flietstra put the Golden Eagles up 7 (66-59) with 2:08. The Golden Eagles would hit their free throws down the stretch to win the game
