GAME FLOW

The Golden Eagles took an early 4-0 lead to start the game but the Wolves tied it at 7-7 at the 17 minute mark. The teams traded leads throughout the game. With the game at 29-29 the Wolves went on an 8-1 run in the final 2 minutes to finish the half and take a 37-30 lead into the locker-room. Cornerstone had 15 turnovers in the first half. Ashley Moon posted 10 of her 13 points in the first half.  The Golden Eagles started the half with an 8-2 run to cut the lead to 1 but a 3-pointer made by Sara Perez and a field goal by Jaclyn Hood with 16:40 remaining pushed the lead back to 6 points. The Wolves lead grew to 8 points with 7:41 remaining before CU went on a 17 to 2 run to take a 64-59 lead with 3:13 remaining. Back to back steals by Jaclyn Hood and two made free-throws tied the game 64-64 with 1:27 remaining. Sam Flietstra scored off a pass by Melissa Veltkamp to take a two point lead and Veltkamp sealed the game and 4 point victory with two free-throws. Sam Flietstra recorded her fifth double double finishing with 21 points and 12 rebounds and collecting 4 steals. Melissa Veltkamp added 18 points and 11 assists. CU had 29 turnovers while UM-Dearborn finished with 24.
