The Golden Eagles dominated the boards doubling up the Seahawks 48-24 which included 22 offensive rebounds. Samantha Flietstra pulled down 18 rebounds in the game.

GAME FLOW

The Golden Eagles took a 5-0 lead to start the game but the Seahawks made a 14-0 run to take a 14-5 lead at the 14:15 mark in the first half. Cornerstone responded with a 13-0 run of their own over the next six minutes to take an 18-14 lead in the game. Cornerstone would continue to increase that lead to 12 points (28-16) with 4:42 on the clock. Cornerstone would finish the half up 32-24. The Seahawks chipped away at the lead to start the second half and they reclaimed the lead (35-33) with 16:28 left in the half. They traded the lead a couple of times over the next few minutes but the Golden Eagles took the lead for good on an Ashley Moon 3-pointer with 9:28 on the clock. Cornerstone gradually increased the lead throughout the remainder of the game. They kept the lead at a least 7 points for the last 6:13 of the game and finished with a 64-55 win.
