Cornerstone University and head
baseball coach David Mitroff are excited to announce the first signing of the
new baseball program. Tyler Krahn, an outfielder and catcher from Abbotsford, British Columbia in Canada, signed his
national letter of intent on Wednesday, November 15th. A left-handed
hitter, Krahn compiled
a .460 average with4 doubles and 4 triples in the wood bat BCPBL fall
league and participated in elite tournaments and camps in Arizona, Florida, and
"Tyler plays the game of baseball the right way. He's a bold
witness for Christ both on and off the field and fits the mission of our university,"
Coach Mitroff said.
When asked about Cornerstone University, Tyler Krahn said, "I am
excited to study Business at Cornerstone and to get involved with non-profit
work in the future. The way the Lord brought about the opportunity for me to
play baseball at Cornerstone was amazing. I hope to make an impact for the
Kingdom both on and off the field and Cornerstone is giving me a great
opportunity to fulfill this vision."
"One thing is sure," Coach Mitroff said "we are getting a
fantastic young man in Tyler. We are excited to see what he does at Cornerstone
and believe that he will be a part of the foundation of our program."
