Cornerstone's Jen Kuipers and Amanda Martino of Siena Heights earned Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Player of the Week honors for women's soccer.
Kuipers had a part in three of the Golden Eagles' five goals during a 5-0 win against Concordia. The senior forward scored twice and assisted on another for a total of five points. It's the first offensive player of the week award this season for the Holland, Mich. native. Cornerstone improved to 6-6-3 overall (1-2-1 WHAC).
Hailing from Troy, Mich., Martino grabbed defensive honors after helping SHU to two shutouts.
