In the last two games the Golden Eagles have out-scored their opponents 13-0. This past Wednesday CU defeated Grace Bible College 8-0 and on a beautiful fall Saturday afternoon the Golden Eagles defeated conference foe Concordia 5-0. Cornerstone got things going early in the first half as Jen Kuipers scored in the 6^th minute on a scramble shot 6 yards out. Rebekah Eggleston scored her second goal of the season in the 12^th minute on a 25 yard blast from the right side of the goal into the left side netting of the goal. Maile Carigon got the assist on the Eggleston goal. Jen Kuipers scored her second goal of the day when she redirected a deflected cross with her head into the left corner of the goal. Ten minutes later Kelley Ritsema scored off an Amanda Van Laar pass in front of the goal in the 26^th minute and CU finished the half up 4-0. Rebekah Eggleston scored her second goal on a Kuipers pass in the 61^st minute. The Golden Eagles had some good combination play in the left corner of the field which ended with a Jen Kuipers cross and a header into the goal from Eggleston. CU outshot the Cardinals 15-7 for the game and goal keeper Kathy Butt had 3 saves in the 5-0 shut-out.

Cornerstone will close out the regular season next week at Davenport on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. and Indiana Tech on Saturday at noon.
