The men's tennis team got their first win of the season and their first since the sport was brought back.  #1 singles John Andrew won 6-4, 6-1, #2 singles Chris Selva won 7-5, 6-1, #4 singles Alexa Tarnow won 6-3, 6-4, #5 single Brad Miedema won 6-1, 7-6 (7-2 tie-breaker), and #6 singles Josh Webb won 2-6, 6-0, 6-1.  In addition #2 and #3 doubles of Selva/Webb and Tarnow Miedema won 8-4, 8-2 to help the Golden Eagles take down the Cougars of the University of St. Francis (Ind.). 

CU won the dual match held at Northpointe High School 7-2.  The Golden Eagles will travel to Goshen College on Sept. 22.
