Outside Hitter Jodi Grandholm and setter Kim Weave were named to the Judson Invitational All-Tournament team after the Golden Eagles went 4-0 over the weekend. Cornerstone improves to 10-1 on the young season.

CU defeated Judson University 3-1 (19-25, 25-16, 25-21, 25-17) in the first match of the day. Weave dished out 33 assists, Grandholm led the team with 13 kills and the defense of Abby Miedema provided 19 digs. Lauren Pierce added 3 aces and Erin Swinger had 1.5 blocks.

In the final match of the day CU defeated Missouri Valley 3-0 (25-20, 25-17, 25-9). Weaver led the team with 12 kills, 20 assists and 6 aces. Megan April provided 3 blocks and Miedema finished with 15 digs. The Golden Eagles next match will not be until Sept. 14 when they host WHAC opponent Siena Heights at 7pm.
