After a wet and rainy three days of competiton the Golden Eagles completed the third round at the NAIA national championships in Silvis Ill. The third round proved to be the best one of the tournament as CU shot a 304. The team finished 25th overall in a field of 29 teams. After the third round the top 17 teams and top 40 individuals move on to the final round. Ben Vanbiesbrouck
shot two under par in the third round (69) to finish tied for 31 overall and will advance to the final round on Friday. Vanbiesbrouck birdied 5 holes in the third round (78-77-69=224). He will tee off at 8:30 a.m. EST on Friday, May 27th. Marcus Brussee
shot 79-77-79=235 to finish tied for 105th and also tied for 105th was Chet Vandenberg
76-80-79=235. Josh Mick
birdied 2 holes in the third round and ended the day shooting a 77 (82-96-77=255). Alex Lanning
shot a three round total of 87-84-85=256.
