First round play was suspended due to thunderstorms at the NAIA national golf championships.  The last group has eight holes remaining.  The Golden Eagles completed first round action as they began at 9:15am EST.  CU currently is 25th out of 29 teams.  Chet Vandenberg birdied three holes and finished the day +5 with a score of 76.  Ben Vanbiesbrouck was +7 on the day with a 78.  Marcus Brussee finished one stroke behind his teammate with a +8 (79).  Josh Mick scored 82 and Alex Lanning birdied the 14th hole and finished with an 87.
