Game 1- Cornerstone University vs. Park University (Mo.)

The Golden Eagles scored two runs in each of the first two innings as they went on to defeat Park University 7-3 today. Heidi Warmelink hit a 2 run double to put Cornerstone up 2-0 after the first inning. Jessica Kuhlman and Tahni Bruno both had RBI's in the second inning for the Golden Eagles. Park reduced the lead to 4-3 with 3 runs in the third and fourth innings but the Golden Eagles scored two of their own in the bottom of the fourth to make it 6-3. Victoria Risenhoover and Lauren Pasciak both had sacrifice bunts to bring in runs for Cornerstone. Risenhoover knocked in another run in the bottom of the sixth to give CU the 7-3 win. Madison Bucilla improved to 3-1 with the win.

Game 2- Northwestern University (Iowa) vs. Cornerstone University

The Golden Eagles pounded out 13 hit and 11 runs in the second game of the day against Northwestern of Iowa. The top of the order (Jessica Kuhlman, Tahni Bruno, Melanie Creager, and Heidi Warmelink went 10 for 15 with 7 runs scored and 8 RBI's to lead the Golden Eagles attack. Stephanie Leet also went 1 for 2 with 2 RBI's and a run scored. Heidi Warmelink picked up her 5^th win of the season in the circle.
