Game 1 - Olivet Nazarene University (Ill.) vs. Cornerstone University

The Golden Eagles dug a deep hole that they couldn't climb out of today as they lost 16-4 to Olivet Nazarene University. The Golden Eagles took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning on a Heidi Warmelink RBI single but the lead would be short lived as the Tigers scored six runs in the second inning, 3 runs in the third inning, four runs in the fourth inning, and three more in the fifth inning to blow open the game. Cornerstone scored one run in the third and two runs in the fourth inning with RBI's by Heidi Warmelink and Jessica Kuhlman. Jessica Kuhlman went 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored and an RBI. Heidi Warmelink went 2 for 3 with 2 RBI's for the Golden Eagles. Heidi Warmelink took the loss on the mound dropping to 3-1 on the season.

Game 2 - Rockhurst University (Ill.) vs. Cornerstone University

The Golden Eagles went down 4-0 after three innings but scored 1 run in the fourth on a Lisa Peppel RBI double to make it 4-1 after four. Rockhust responded with three runs in the top of the fifth inning to make it 7-1. The Golden Eagles battled back with four runs in the bottom half of the inning to make it 7-5. Rockhurst walked in two runners and Melanie Creager hit a double to bring in two other runners to bring the Golden Eagles with two runs. Rockhurst added two more in the top of the 7^th and the Golden Eagles could only manage an RBI sacrifice fly by Heidi Warmelink as the fell 9-6 to Rockhurst. Madison Bucilla took the loss on the mound dropping to 1-1 on the season.
