-The WHAC tournament bracket is set with the Golden Eagles receiving the #4 overall seed. The will take on Aquinas in the first round of the double elimination tournament at 3pm on Thursday, May 5th. Davenport University

in Battle Creek, Mich.
Davenport won the regular season title with a 21-3 conference record for a .875 winning percentage. Indiana Tech
earned the No. 2 seed after sweeping Madonna University
This year's field is packed with national talent. Three WHAC players are among those tied for first in the nation in fielding percentage. DU's Brianna Carpenter

all have a perfect 1.000 percentage. Heather Brusokas
is seventh in total runs scored with 57 for Davenport and the team is 12th in home runs per game, averaging 1.143 dingers.
Madonna's ace pitcher Jess Irwin
broke the national record for career strikeouts a couple weeks ago and ranks fifth in strike outs per game with 13.26. She's also eighth in total strike outs with 222.
Thursday's opening round schedule is as follows:
Game A: #1 Davenport (34-15/21-3) vs. #8 Siena Heights (13-38/3-21), 3 p.m.
Game B: #4 Cornerstone (23-13/14-8) vs. #5 Aquinas (26-18/9-11), 3 p.m.
Game C: #2 Indiana Tech (35-14/15-5) vs. #7 UM-Dearborn (10-24/5-16), 3 p.m.
