Cornerstone University's Men's Soccer coach Mark Bell received his first commitment for 2011 with the signing of Drew Billin from Unity Christian High School. Drew signed his Letter of Intent on March 23^rd.

High School experience: Drew started for three years at Unity Christian… He played outside mid in his sophomore year and center midfield his junior and senior year… Team Captain 2010…All Conference 2009 and 2010…All District 2009 and 2010…State Champions 2009….Club experience: played for Georgetown Rangers and coach Brian Broekhuizen…played primarily central midfield…competed in the Premier I Division….U-13 State Cup Runner-up…U16 State Cup Quarter-finalist…U17 State Cup Semi-finalist…Personal: Enjoys playing guitar and drums both recreationally and for the praise team at Jamestown Reformed Church, and with the youth group he attends at Georgetown CRC… Spends time each week as a respite care giver for social services, caring for a special needs friend…. Drew has a heart for people with special needs…Drew helps at Unity Christian High School assisting students in various classes…Drew will be traveling to Guatemala in August 2011 with his youth group on a mission project….Drew also loves to snowboard and skimboard…Drew chose Cornerstone because he felt it is the place he can grow spiritually and can receive a quality education.

Coach Bell is excited about Drew coming to CU in the fall of 2011. Drew is an outstanding student, has had an outstanding high school and club career and he has a great heart for serving Christ on and off the field. We are looking forward to Drew's impact on our program.
