Women's Indoor Track & Field - Wed, Feb. 16, 2011

Janelle Brown of Cornerstone University and Emaryne Watt on Indiana Tech were named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Women's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, respectively.

Brown, a senior from Midland, Mich., broke her own school record in the 3,000-Meter Race Walk at the Cedarville Invitational. Her first-place finish allowed her to reclaim the top spot on the NAIA performance list with a time of 14:28.75.

A native of Indianapolis, Ind., Watt hit the A standard in the High Jump on her way to a first-place finish at the TaylorInvitational. She cleared 5-5 and broke her own school record and tied for the fourth spot on the NAIA performance list. In addition, she finished fourth in the Long Jump.
