Bryan Pasciak hit a 3-pointer to start the game and the Warriors responded with a 3-pointer of their own to tie the game 3-3 but Indiana Tech would trail for the remainder of the game after a Kelvin DeVries free throw with 18:07 on the clock. The Golden Eagles gradually increased their lead throughout the half. Their biggest lead of the half (23-13) came with 4:43 on the clock. Kelvin DeVries hit a shot at the buzzer to put the Golden Eagles up 33-25 at the half. The Golden Eagles maintained at least an 8 point lead through the first 10 minutes of the second half. Justin Yoder hit a 3-pointer with 7:58 left in the game to put Cornerstone up double digits (51-39) and the Warriors would not get within single digits for the remainder of the game. Cornerstone's largest lead of the game (71-53) came with just :18 seconds left in the game and they finished the game with a score of 71-57. The Golden Eagles had dedicated the game to Johnny Teis and he made the trip up from Arkansas and was in attendance at the game for the win.
The #3 Golden Eagles will travel over to play UM-Dearborn to take on the Wolves as part of a double header with the women on Wednesday night. The men will tip-off at 7:30 p.m.
