GAME FLOW

The Golden Eagles trailed only once today as they defeated the Saints 62-44 to remain 2 games ahead of Davenport in the WHAC. Cornerstone trailed (3-4) with 18:33 on the clock but they made a 15-6 over the next 12 minutes to give themselves an 8 point lead (18-10). The Golden Eagles made a 15-8 run to finish the half up 33-18. The Saints did out rebound the Golden Eagles 20-13 in the first half of play. Cornerstone maintained their double digit lead throughout the second half. Cornerstone pushed the lead to as much as 27 points (48-21) with 14:14 on the clock. The Saints would not get the lead under 20 until the last shot of the game which made the score 62-44. Cornerstone would throw the ball in and run out the clock for the 18 point win.
