(Ann Arbor, Mich. ) A near capacity crowd squeezed into the University of Michigan Indoor Track building for the Simmons-Harvey Invitational. The Cornerstone Men's team took advantage of the good competition, recording four personal bests.
Jared Courtright led a group of three Golden Eagles to new PR's in the 3,000 meters racing to fifth in his heat in 8:52.66. Freshman Louis Falland took three seconds off his best placing 11th in 9:22.10 and senior Peter Kaijala was 16th in 9:38.41
Bryant Langdon sent the 35 pound weight 43' 6" improving his best distance and taking 9th in his flight.
Cornerstone's top finish of the day went to Zach Yeo. His 50.36 in the 400 meters was the sixth best performance of the day and good for second in his heat.
