GAME FLOW

The Wolves took a 3-0 lead on the first shot of the game but the Golden Eagles Alexa Hensler responded with a 3-pointer of her own and the Golden Eagles would not trail again for the remainder of the game. Cornerstone made a 23-6 run over the next 10 minutes to take a 26-9 lead with 9:23 left in the first half. UM-Dearborn cut into that lead and the Golden Eagles finished the half up 41-30. The Wolves cut the lead to 9 on two occasions in the 2^nd half but they couldn't get any closer than that in the 2^nd half. The Golden Eagles gradually increased the lead over the last 10 minutes of the game. The largest lead (85-60) came with :47 seconds left on the clock. The Wolves scored one more basket before the clock ran out and the game ended with an 85-62 victory for the Golden Eagles.  Sam Flietstra scored a career high 17 points while Melissa Veltkamp recorded a career high 11 assists.   Cornerstone improves to 14-4 overall and 3-2 in the WHAC.
