The women's volleyball season came to a close in the quarterfinal round of the WHAC tournament. Their opponent, Aquinas College, entered the match on an 18 match winning streak and they opened the first game with a 25-18 win over CU. Cornerstone fought back and evened the score at 1-1 with a 25-23 win. But the Saints finished the match with a 25-17 game three win and 25-16 game four win. Both teams finished with 9 team blocks but the Saints hit .208 for the match to .038 by the Golden Eagles. Aquinas' Molly Lounds led all attackers with 16 kills. Megan April led CU with 9 kills and Becky Albrecht dished out 26 assists while Abby Miedema was the dig leader with 20.

Aquinas advances to the semi-final match vs. Madonna on Friday. Cornerstone finishes the season with a 15-25 overall record.
