The Golden Eagles entered today's game knowing that they could finish as high as 3rd and as low as 5th place in the conference and they pulled out the 2-0 win over Indiana Tech to finish 3rd in the WHAC. Cornerstone was outshot 7-3 in the first half but they kept a clean sheet and ended the half in a 0-0 tie.

Cornerstone came out with more intensity in the second half and pressed the Warriors out shooting them 8-2. The Golden Eagles finally broke through in the 79th minute when Matt Osorio hit Jesse Pipe with a nice pass that Pipe headed past the Warrior GK to put Cornerstone up 1-0. Kwabe Boateng sealed the victory in the 84th minute scoring a nice goal to give the Golden Eagles their second goal. The Golden Eagles secured the 3rd seed with the win and will face #6 Indiana Tech next Saturday. Cornerstone finishes the season 7-7-2 overall and 3-2-1 in the WHAC.
