(Ann Arbor, Mich.) The Golden Eagles kept their first place WHAC standing with a 3-0 shut-out win over the Concordia Cardinals. Heidi DeVries scored on a header from a corner kick by Anna Stegink in the 21st minute to take the 1-0 lead.Amanda Dudiak scored her second goal of the season in the 63rd minute and was assisted by Ashley Morrow. Jen Kuipers scored her third goal of the season and gave CU a 3-0 lead at the 70th minute mark. The Golden Eagles controlled the ball and had 18 shots on goal to the Cardinals two shots on goal.

Cornerstone improves to 10-5 overall and 4-0 in the WHAC while the Cardinals drop to 2-8 overall and 0-6 in the WHAC. Cornerstone close the regular season with two home games beginning with Davenport on Tuesday, Oct. 26 at 4pm and Indiana Tech on Saturday, Oct. 30th at 12pm.
