(Ann Arbor, Mich.) The Golden Eagles traveled to Concordia University looking to remain in the top four of the conference race. Matt Osoria and Richard Moylan assisted on the first goal scored by Nic Tolsma at the 26:48 mark.

A minute and a half later Richard Moylan scored off an assist by Kwabe Boateng (28:24) to push the CU lead to 2-0. Before the first half ended the Pat Gates scored for the Cardinals with just two and a half minutes remaining to take a just trail by one going into half-time.

Just 52 seconds into the second half Matt Roberts saved a Concordia header shot to preserve the 2-1 Cornerstone lead. Brian Nimmo gave CU some breathing room when he scored in the 53rd minute on a Jacob Stanko assist. Cornerstone had 12 shots on goal while the Cardinals had 8 in the 3-1 victory. CU improved to 6-6-2 overall and 2-1-1 in the WHAC. Concordia falls to 3-11-1 overall and 0-5 in the WHAC. CU will host league leader Davenport on Oct. 27th at 3:30 p.m.
