(Grand Rapids, Mich.) The women's team had to come from behind and responded with a 3-1 win over NCAA Division II St. Joseph's College. St. Joseph's Allie Reiners scored in the 14th minute to take a 1-0 lead. CU's Amanda Van Laar

assisted the third goal on a free-kick which Heidi DeVries headed it in at the 77th minute to secure CU's second win of the season.
The Golden Eagles had 10 shots on goal compared to the Pumas 4. Alyssa Morrow had 3 saves on the game and collected the win. Cornerstone improves to 2-3 on the season while St. Joseph's falls to 0-2-1. CU will host Concordia on Saturday, September 11 at noon for a non-conference game. The Golden Eagles will play Concordia again on October 23rd for their WHAC contest.
