Men's Golf - Tue, Aug. 31, 2010
The men's golf team started the season on the right foot winning the USF Cougar Invitational. Out of 12 teams the Golden Eagles came out on top scoring a 293 on Monday and 303 on Tuesday for a team total of 596.
Marcus Brussee won the invitational scoring a 71 and 73 for a two day total of 144. Ben Vanbiesbrouck also placed in the top ten with 75 and 74 and two day total of 149. Cornerstone edged out fellow WHAC opponents Davenport, Indiana Tech and Madonna.
Chet Vandenberg scored 73-79,
Josh Mick finished with 74-77. The Golden Eagles are experienced and are ready to challenge for the WHAC championship this year. The team is led by seniors
