(Grand Rapids, Mich.) The Golden Eagles finished out a tough week with a double header sweep by Indiana Tech. The Warriors blanked Cornerstone 10-0 in Game 1. Jessica Williams pitched a 2 hitter to shutout the Golden Eagles. Tahni Bruno and Madison Bucilla both had a hit each for Cornerstone. The Golden Eagles committed 6 errors in the loss.

The Golden Eagles started Game 2 much as they did Game 1 giving up 9 runs in the first three innings but they did respond scoring 6 runs of their own in the last three innings but Tech also scored 5 runs in the fifth and sixth innings to go on to win by the score of 14-6. Jessica Kuhlman went 3 for 4 with 2 RBI's and a run scored for Cornerstone. Mandee Michielsen went 2 for 4 with an RBI. Melanie Creager went 1 for 4 with 2 RBI's and a run scored. Cornerstone drops to 7-28 overall and 4-12 in the WHAC. The Golden Eagles will return to action on Monday when they travel over to Calvin for a double header at 3:30 p.m.
