GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Davenport University will serve as the 2014 host to the Champions of Character College All-Star Games on March 26 at the Student Center. The games will take play at 6 p.m. for the ladies and 7:30 p.m. for the men.

Davenport's women's coach Mike Williams will join Aquinas head coach Linda Nash as one set of coaches and they will take on a team headed up by Olivet College head coach Nicole Burford. On the men's side, Cornerstone's Kim Elder will lead one team and Davenport's coach Burt Paddock will lead the other team. 

The first players to take the court will be the women's college all stars on March 26 at 6 p.m., followed by the men's game at 7:30 p.m.

ESPN 96.1 FM will have the men's game live on the radio while Davenport Sports Information will provide live stats and live video on the Davenport Athletics Network with Aaron Sagraves on the play by play call.

Tickets are $5 per person or $15 for families, with money raised going to the "Champions of Character Lecturing Initiative." A goal to raise between $5,000 and $7,500 has been set by the sports marketing departments at Davenport and Cornerstone to help this initiative that promotes respect, integrity, responsibility, leadership and sportsmanship to every player, coach, referee, parent and spectator at OK Conference schools.
