Wes Hudson was named NAIA Division II First Team All-American this season after being named to the Honorable Mention team the last two seasons. Hudson led the Golden Eagles to a 30-5 record and a final season national ranking of 4th in the NAIA Division II polls. Hudson averaged 20.2 points per game and scored the 13th most points (796) for the season. Hudson also finished 2nd in the nation in Free Throw Percentage making 90% (243-270) of his shots from the foul line. Hudson finished his career as the 5th leading scorer in the history of the men's basketball program with 2,036 points. Only Scot McKnight (2,263), Scott O'Day (2,725), Jim Eppink (2,748) and Jared Crandell (2,772) scored more points than Hudson over their careers. Hudson was the heart and soul of the Golden Eagles over the past couple of years. Congratulations to Wes on such a deserving honor.
